The Pretty Beach House emerges from the edge of a steep,reactive clay site. Requiring stability:an anchor point from which a building could grow.
Learning from nature, masonry walls form 2-anchors embedded in the hillside from which 2-narrow,rectilinear floor-platforms extend out towards the escarpment to catch the sun.
