Commendation: House Alteration and Addition over 200 square metres
Benn + Penna Architecture for Balmain Houses
The project involves significant alterations to two semi-detached workers cottages in the densely populated suburb of Balmain. The properties are owned by different generations of the same family and our brief was to adapt the buildings to suit an intergenerational living arrangement, whilst generally improving amenity of both buildings.
