Shortlist: House Alteration and Addition over 200 square metres
B.E Architecture for Hopetoun Avenue, Vaucluse
Hopetoun Avenue, is an extension to a period home in Vaucluse. The addition is a light open pavilion that is wrapped around a significant lemon-scented gum tree. The architectural language is a combination of horizontal concrete planes and vertical timber columns that sit lightly on the ground.
