Tanner Kibble Denton Architects for Hurlstone House, Newtown
An 1860s Newtown weatherboard cottage has been renovated to create a modern home. The original character of the cottage including the hipped roof form, front verandah central entry hall and bedrooms belies the contemporary living, kitchen, dining and outdoor rooms of the ground floor and first floor parents retreat.
