Shortlist: House Alteration and Addition over 200 square metres

The project involves the transformation of a dilapidated heritage-listed residence in Woollahra into a sophisticated contemporary dwelling for an international family and their extensive Australian art collection. Breaking the formal spatial model of the Victorian, the bronze-clad entrance is now to the side linking the old with the new.
