Robinson Architects for Platypus Bend House
Platypus Bend House is named after the elusive residents of Six mile creek that snakes through the spectacular 30 acre site in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Engaged in an intimate bush narrative, the light steel-framed house is raised entirely off the ground. The resulting cantilever gives its characteristic floating effect.
