Shortlist: New House over 200 square metres
James Russell Architect for Mitti Street House
Sitting on the edge of the rainforest the house is essentially a large screened verandah, making a place for families and friends to stay. Modest ‘fibro shacks’ make camp around the edges of a central gathering space. Cooking and bathing is on ground under open sky with sleeping above.
