Brad Swartz Architects for Portmenteau Apartment
A 1965 Harry Seidler studio in a dress circle location is reborn as a luxury hotel suite. Its reconfiguration swaps kitchen alcove for a bedroom, while living area is trained to the harbour. Reminiscent of travelling trunks from the ocean-liner heydey is tailor-made joinery, securing everything in its place.
