MCK Architects for Extruded House
The shape of a traditional federation-esq home is extruded into it's own backyard to form a contemporary addition. This form-sharing celebrates the old with the new by unashamedly sitting them side by side and creating a dialogue that allows their materiality to remind us of their respective moment in time.
