Shortlist: House Alteration and Addition over 200 square metres
Eastop Architects for Elm Tree Place
Elm Tree Place is an exercise in careful separation. A rear addition originally designed by Nonda Katsalidis in the 1980s, was sub-divided from its original front-facing Victorian terrace. This project examines a relationship between light and dark – through materiality, reflectivity and transparency space is expanded and contracted.
