Commendation: House in a Heritage Context
O'Connor and Houle Architecture + Landscapes for Oliver Lane Apartment
Sir John Monash built the warehouse in 1907. Monash was a major advocate of reinforced concrete and the building is a pioneering exploration in off-form concrete. It is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. The project involved fitting out a whole floor for a professional couple with a young child.
