Benn and Penna Architects for Rozelle Softwood
Softwood emulates a jenga game between foundation and canopy; a sandstone plinth supporting intersecting volumes above, balancing circulation, ventilation and light within the small triangular site. The extension outreaches its arms, both welcoming those on the street, and adding a veil of privacy…fluctuating between connection and retreat.
