Shortlist: House in a Heritage Context
Preston Lane for Tate Extension
Tate House is an iconic Tasmanian house built in 1959. Designed by Esmond Dorney, the house is listed on the Tasmanian Heritage register primarily for its curved lightweight roof structure. The new works were considered through the lens of conserving the significant aspects of the home and building upon them.
