Shortlist: New House over 200 square metres
B.E. Architecture for Shakespeare Grove
Shakespeare Grove is a new house situated within a heritage precinct, which needed to sit comfortably within neighbouring Victorian buildings. It takes its cues from European and Asian mid-century modernists, not its neighbours.
It consists of two disparate sections, unified and strengthened by details and the rigour of material choice.
