Shortlist: House Alteration and Addition under 200 square metres
Philip Stejskal Architecture for East Street House
Workers cottage in East Fremantle, with multiple additions over a century, was in need of heart surgery. The middle portion, erected in the first half of last century, needed to be replaced. With it came an opportunity to breathe new life into an existing rabbit warren of dark rooms.
