This owner-built, small footprint addition to a 1930’s Californian bungalow is a physical translation of countless conversations with two romantics in semi-retirement.

A simple diagram for the new building envelope affords a loose, playful approach to the spaces within…a backdrop to an authentic lifestyle and decades of collected treasures.
