Challenging residential norms this new dwelling in Melbourne’s western suburbs initiates connections between occupants, pedestrians, public parkland and private gardens; blurring and enlivening spaces on both sides of the threshold. Forms and materials borrow from surrounding context while carefully articulated planning and details provide a contemporary response for family life.
