House on the Bay is a new single dwelling overlooking Port Phillip Bay. Experience of place is shaped by severe coastal weather and proximity to public domains. Seeking to balance these inherent tensions, the dwelling turns inwards, drawing on canonical attributes of prospect and refuge.
