Polly Harbison is the principal of Polly Harbison Design. Established in 2003, the studio is a Sydney-based practice committed to creating elegantly resolved architecture. Polly’s projects have received extensive recognition in awards programs and have been well published both internationally and locally, with the Pearl Beach Project winning a Australian Institute of Architects National Award and NSW Wilkinson Award in 2021. Polly specialises in designing houses on beautiful coastal sites. Her studio currently has projects in Margaret River in Western Australia, Kangaroo Island in South Australia, as well as several beachfront sites along the NSW coastline.

Polly studied architecture at the University of Sydney. Alongside her practice, she has been on several architecture juries including chairing the Australian Institute of Architects 2022 NSW Architecture Awards in the Residential Architecture – Houses (New) category. for new residential architecture in 2022. She has been involved in architectural education in Sydney, tutoring at both the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales.
