Shortlist: House Alteration and Addition under 200 square metres
Pendal and Neille for Carine House
Re-working an existing 1980s project-home to create a whole-new-world, 12m2 are added while the entirety of the home is transformed. Strategically prudent, the concept maintains the majority of the existing building while restructuring space to generate atmosphere. An exercise in up-cycling, Carine House conserves embodied energy and provokes the senses.
