Shortlist: House Alteration and Addition under 200 square metres

This is a house which we lived in and got to know for about 6 years before undertaking the alterations and additions to it. Both being architects, we tried countless designs before proceeding. During the subsequent 8 years we carried out the construction whilst continuing to develop the design detailing.
