Shortlist: House Alteration and Addition under 200 square metres
Austin Maynard Architects for Kiah House
Kiah House is an addition to a 1927 weatherboard cottage. The owners wanted a light and airy home with a “strong and positive vibe”, to entertain, relax and meditate. Influenced by Japanese gardens and the Buddhist retreats of Kyoto, the design responds to the client’s desire for peace and mindfulness.
