Shortlist: House Alteration and Addition under 200 square metres
Welsh + Major Architects for Darling Lane
An idea took shape about how it would be great if this airy warehouse conversion had one or two more rooms to live in. The space to explore this idea of making simple personal spaces was a 3.3 metre wide airspace above an existing garage off an inner city laneway.
